Apalena Briddle
(8/11/49-10/8/26). Amos and Lena had ten children, five boys and five
girls.
They lived in Oklahoma and Adair County, Missoui, where Effie was born, and in Searcy
County, Arkansas.
Effie married William Henry Eveleigh
(2/18/88-11/6/72) sometime prior to the birth of their first son,

From the dates on Effie's

William Henry Eveleigh draft card for WWI was dated 6/5/17, two months
after Effie's death. It states William was single and had three
children.
Effie's parents were living in Searcy County, Arkansas during this time
and it may that William and Effie moved to Searcy County from Kansas,
because of the pending war?
William later married a lady named Julia J. in 1940 in Kansas at the age
of 52.
William is buried in Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Coffeyville,
Kansas.
