Arriving at Steel Creek

The air temperature was 48 degrees....the water temperature was 60 degrees!

Gary and Carol did not get off to a good start!

The water was 18" at the low water bridge...perfect!

This man actually paddled the whole trip standing in his canoe!

We didn't get started until 11 A.M. so it was time to eat lunch.

Guess what they are doing here?

Building a fire.  It was still 48 degrees and the wind was blowing.

John waiting for his turn by the fire.

Heidi never left the fire!
